Configure External Systems > S3

S3

CAM is integrated with Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) cloud storage that can be used to back up, store, and retrieve data. The S3 configuration allows you to backup documents to an AWS S3 bucket owned by you. All your uploaded documents will be copied to your own S3 bucket, while CAM will manage the document metadata. The S3 buckets are private and encrypted by default, both the access key and the secret key are required to authenticate the configuration.

Note: S3 is a prerequisite configuration for using Content Mirror. User access to edit the bucket or the objects within the bucket have to be determined by the S3 bucket owner. CAM is not liable for any updates to your S3 bucket.

  1. Click the S3 tab.
