Milan Client Silent Install

To install the Milan client from the command line:

1. Download the MSI version of the client installer from the Prosperoware support site.
2. Open Command Prompt or Windows PowerShell.
3. Navigate to the folder containing the MSI installer.
4. Run msiexe.exe with at least the /i and /q switches, as well as all of the properties listed in the Client Installer Properties table below.

Example

The following command silently installs all client components and enables full logging.

msiexec /i Prosperoware.Milan.ClientInstaller32TC12.msi /qn /lv*x "C:\logs" MILAN_URL="http://MilanDemo/milan/clientpages" ZONE_URL="http://zonemobile1.prosperoware.com" ADDLOCAL="Binder,ExcelAddIn,NrlHandler,Commands,Litigator,Consolidator” LICENSE=”C:\Users\Milanadmin\Desktop\license.xml”

/i	msi_filename	The file name of the MSI to install. For example, Prosperoware.Milan.ClientInstaller32TC12.msi.

Property	Description
MILAN_URL	The URL to the Milan client pages, which should be in the format http://SERVER_NAME/Milan/clientpages
ZONE_URL	The URL to Zone. For example, http://SERVER_NAME/zone
ADDLOCAL	A comma-separated list of the components to install. Available Components Commands The Milan pop-up menu commands for DeskSite/FileSite. Displayed in the installer as "Prosperoware Clients". Litigator The Litigator pop-up menu commands for DeskSite/FileSite.
