About Consolidator

Consolidator is a standalone desktop application for quickly moving workspaces, folders, and documents between WorkSite libraries.

The application addresses various data integrity issues that arise during moves such as

duplicate document numbers or databases growing unwieldy in size making information hard to find. It provides multiple options for consolidating databases or archiving large quantities of content to address different requirements relating to the size, type, and location of the data repository:

Consolidator uses SQL scripts for performing operations in bulk. While consolidation and splitting of databases can be achieved using the WorkSite API, the SDK by nature does not perform as fast as the SQL scripts.
