| Workspaces: Reassign Template |
The Reassign Template feature, which is available on the Workspaces and Analytics tabs, allows administrators to apply a different folder template to an existing workspace.
There are a number of situations in which a matter might require a new folder structure.
Using Reassign Template on a workspace brings up the Reassign Template dialog, which allows you to specify how Milan will transition the workspace from one folder template to another. From the Reassign Template dialog you can:
When a folder is mapped, all files contained in the source folder are moved to the target folder upon saving.

Note: If you have made any changes to the existing mapping, such as removing folders, disabling the copying of metadata values, then you can save the new mapping by clicking the Save Mapping option and specifying its name for future use.
It is possible to perform bulk mapping of workspaces from the Analytics tab when the Query Type is set to Workspace. After running a workspace, the Reassign Template button is displayed in the Query Result panel. Here, you can perform the folder to folder mapping in bulk for all those workspaces returned after executing the query.
