Reassigning Templates

To reassign a template to a single workspace from the Workspaces tab:

1. Select a workspace and click the Reassign Template button in the toolbar to open the Merge Folder dialog.
2. Click the Manually map option.
3. From the Available Template drop-down menu, select a new template to assign to the selected workspace.
4. Check an existing (source) folder in the Selected Workspace panel.
5. Select the target folder from the template selected in the Available Templates panel.
6. If you would like to move all documents in the source folder to the target folder without preserving the subfolders, click Move Documents. If you would prefer to keep the subfolders, click Move Folder. The mapping is added to the Selected Template Folders list at the bottom of the dialog.
7. Repeat steps four through six for each folder in the selected workspace that corresponds to a folder in the new template.

9. Check Create remaining folders from selected target template if you would like to create folders from the target template that have not been explicitly mapped.
10. If you would like to reuse this mapping, click Save Mapping. Enter a name for the mapping in the Mapping Folder dialog and click Submit to save.

11. Click Save to apply the changes to the workspace.

To use a saved mapping:

1. Select a workspace and click the Reassign Template button.
2. In the Merge Folders dialog, select the From previously saved mapping option.
3. Select a mapping from the Available Mapping drop-down menu.
4. Delete unnecessary mappings by clicking the delete icon next to the unwanted template folders in the Selected Template Folders list.

6. Check Create remaining folders from selected target template if you would like to add folders to the
7. Click Save to submit the job to be processed by the provisioning service.

Note: If you have made any changes to the existing mapping, such as removing folders, disabling the copying of metadata values, then you can save the new mapping by clicking the Save Mapping option and specifying its name for future use.

It is possible to perform bulk mapping of workspaces from the Analytics tab when the Query Type is set to Workspace. After running a workspace, the Reassign Template button is displayed in the Query Result panel. Here, you can perform the folder to folder mapping in bulk for all those workspaces returned after executing the query.
