Task Permissions for Users and Groups

Task permissions provide highly granular control over which features are available to Milan users or groups.

To manage task permissions for users and groups:

  1. Open AdministrationMilan Users/Groups Setup.
  2. Click the icon in the Tasks column for the user or group for which you would like to manage task permissions to open the Task Management dialog.

Note: In order to correctly display the Task Management dialog, the browser window must have a viewable area of at least 1280 x 700 pixels.

  1. To assign permissions, select one or more permissions in the Available list and click the rightward facing arrow. Conversely, to remove assigned permissions, select one or more permissions in the Selected list and click the leftward facing arrow.
  2. Click Save to save your changes and close the dialog.

The availability of task permissions depends on the modules included in the installed license. The license module column in each of the following tables lists the modules that provide each permission. For suggestions on how to assign permissions to users and groups, see Suggested User Groups and Task Permission Assignments .
