About Milan Configuration Files

Settings not saved to the Milan database are stored in XML format in C:\Program Files\Prosperoware.Milan\data. While it is possible to edit the content of these .config files in a standard text editor like Notepad, when making extensive changes it is advisable to use a more robust text editor with support for XML.

checkoutPathMap.config	Path pattern to be used when performing remote check-ins.
docProperties.config	Metadata to be included in the index.htm files included with exports and Edit Profile/View Profile dialog on the Documents tab.
docSearchFolder.config	Metadata fields to be displayed on the Create Search Folder dialog when creating search folders via Milan desktop client.
docSearchForm.config	Search fields to be displayed on the Documents tab in the Milan web interface.
extendedProperties.config	Metadata to be displayed when a user double-clicks a document in the search results on the Documents tab in the Milan web interface.
folderProperties.config	Metadata fields to be displayed on the Edit Profile/View Profile dialog for folders in the Milan web interface.
FolderPropertiesClient.config	Metadata fields to be displayed on the Edit Profile dialog for folders in the Milan desktop client.
myMatters.config	Menu options to be available from the Reorganize button in the Organize User's My Matters dialog.
workspaceProperties.config	Metadata fields to be displayed on the Edit Profile/View Profile dialog on the Workspaces tab.
workspaceSearchForm.config	Search fields to be displayed on the Workspaces tab in the Milan web interface.
