Administrators with the ... permission can customize the contents of the Create Workspace dialog from the Dialog Configuration Management page (...milan/DialogConfig.aspx), which is accessible from Administration → Workspace Management → Workspace Dialog Configuration.
The Dialog Configuration Management page allows you to create and import new Create Workspace dialogs as well as manage existing dialog configurations.

Clicking the Add Dialog or Edit button brings up the Workspace Dialog Configuration page, which has the following eight screens.
Note: You must proceed to the final screen, Notification, and click Submit in order to apply changes to an existing configuration.

When a user creates a new entry for a Custom field in the Create Workspace dialog, Milan must create an aliasThe internal name used by WorkSite to refer to a Custom field entry, e.g. '1000' for a client (Custom1) or 'BANK' for an area of law (Custom29). to match the given description. To ensure a unique value, Milan automatically generates a number of a specified length. If the length of the starting number is less than the maximum length, the number is padded with leading zeroes.

A list of fields that will be available on the panel. Clicking the field opens a drop-down menu from which one or more of the following fields can be selected: Server, Database, Custom1, Custom2, Name, Description, Workspace Template, and Template Preview. Note: Name is a required field. |
All fields selected in Custom Fields, with the exception of Template Preview, are displayed under this heading. To specify a default value for a field, either click its drop-down menu and select it from the list or manually enter the value, which will auto-complete if it is in the WorkSite database.
To configure options for a specific field, click the gear icon on the right-hand side of its drop-down menu to open the Metadata Properties Configuration dialog, which may have one or more of the following options.
