The Settings page provides configuration options divided into six tabs: Policy Types, Policy Systems, File Share Path, Risk Team, and Email Templates.
The policy types tab allows you to add, edit, or delete policy types, which act as templates for policies.
New policy types can be added by clicking the Add New Policy Type button, which opens a wizard with the following screens.

Draft Policy Templates | Choose an email message template Policy Center uses to send email notifications to administrators, notifying about the creation of a draft policy. An administrator can approve the policy by clicking on the link given in the email message. The administrators receiving the notifications can be configured via an application setting, named draft-policy-Notification-emailList. Add the email addresses of the designated authorities in the Value text box and click Save. | ||||||

Review and confirm the information in a read-only mode before submitting the request to create or edit a policy type. Once you ensure the information entered is correct, click Create Policy Type.
Policy Center supports multiple types of systems, including WorkSite, file shares, and SQL-based systems like Elite, Legal Key, and Aderant. By default, Milan provides support for WorkSite, but you can also find scripts for Elite and Legal Key SQL-based systems in C:\Program Files\Prosperoware.Milan\PolicyCenter\ExternalSystemFiles. In order to support additional SQL based systems for Policy Center, you must customize their SQL scripts and save them in the folder.

Any file share path that needs to be secured can be defined in the File Share Path page. You can secure confidential documents associated with a client or matter that are placed either on your local disk or network share drive.

After adding the locations that you want to be secured by the Milan Policy Center, you need to add the file share system in your Policy Systems. If it is already been added, then there is no need to specify it again.

A risk team consists of a group of WorkSite users allowed to create ethical walls on client related work, create policy types, and define what systems are affected by these policies.
To add a member to the risk team:

In Policy Center, you can customize your email messages that include information about the policies that are created or edited. You can compose and save a message as a template, and then reuse it when you want it. You can also add a new information to the existing templates before the template is sent as an email message.
