File Share Path

Any file share path that needs to be secured can be defined in the File Share Path page. You can secure confidential documents associated with a client or matter that are placed either on your local disk or network share drive.

Field Description
Client/Matter Specify a client or matter whose information you want to secure.
Path Specify the UNC path where the documents associated with the client/matter are located.

To add or edit a file share path:

  1. Click Add New File Share Path to add a file share path. Click Edit icon to edit an existing file share path.
  2. Configure the fields explained in the above table.
  3. Click Save.

Specifying a File Share System

After adding the locations that you want to be secured by Policy Center, you need to add the file share system in your Policy Systems. If it is already been added, then there is no need to specify it again.

  1. Navigate to SettingsPolicy SystemsAdd New Policy System.
  2. Configure the following fields:

    System Name Enter the file system name.
    System Type Select File Share from the drop down menu.
    Enable this System? Select Yes to enable the file share system.
