The Import Documents command allows you to import documents from your local machine or a shared network drive into the selected folder.
To import documents:

A UNC path to a folder containing documents to import into WorkSite. To browse for a folder, click the ... button. Note: In order for Milan to be able to successfully import documents, the Provisioning Service must have at least read access to the specified path. |

Delete Source Folder After Import | All files and folders will be deleted from the path specified above after the import completes. | ||||||||||
Author | The WorkSite user that will be set as the Author of all imported documents. By default, this field is populated with the name of currently logged in user. | ||||||||||
Operator | The WorkSite user that will be set as the Operator of all imported documents, By default, this field is populated with the name of currently logged in user. | ||||||||||
DocType | The class that will be set as the DocType of all imported documents. If no class is specified, documents will inherit the default class of the target folder in WorkSite. | ||||||||||
Retain Create and Edit Date From File | Set the create and edit dates in WorkSite to match those of the original file. | ||||||||||
Do not detect duplicate documents | Import all documents to the target folder even if source folder contains documents with the same name. | ||||||||||

Create Binder Import opens the Desktop Import/Export application and starts the Import Wizard with the import destination set to the selected WorkSite location. Refer to Import Wizard for more information on importing documents with Desktop Import/Export.
Create Binder Export opens the Desktop Import/Export application and starts the Export Wizard with the export list prepopulated with the selected workspace or folder. Refer to Export Wizard for more information on exporting workspaces, folders, and documents with Desktop Import/Export.
