Planning Settings allow users to control the sort and order within planning.
Options for planning settings are:
| Option | Description |
| Column to Sort By | On which column or columns should planning results be sorted by? If multiple sorts appear, the first column will say Sort by, then the next row(s) show then by. Examples can be Office, Department, Person Last Name. |
| Sort on | The value type to sort on. Can be a value or from the display order settings. |
| Order | Order results by ascending or descending. |
Other Options from the Other Settings button are:

| Rate Lookup Date |
Option Standard: Picks the date according to the rate lookup procedure based on the rate date, then matter date then current date available. Option Current Date: Sets the procedure to always use the current date regardless of the other dates. |
