If your email server is SMTP-based, complete this section.
You can click the Test button in the bottom right corner of the screen to verify that all settings are valid. A pop-up message will display letting you know if the validation was successful or what issues, if any, were encountered.
Field | Description |

SMTP Server | Type the URL for server, e.g. smtp.office365.com. |
Port | Defaults to 25 for internal communications. Can be changed for external communication, if needed. |
SMTP Username/SMTP Password | Login credentials used to access server. |
Use SSL | Select this check-box, if Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is turned on. |
Default Sender |
Enter the email address that will appear as the sender on internal communications. |
Subject Prefix | Enter any text that will precede the subject line of internal communications (e.g., Umbria Notification:). |
Enable SMTP Relay |
Select this check-box if the server should be able to accept and then resend messages to recipients on another server. |
