Matter Contacts
The Contacts screen shows all contacts that play a role in this matter. On the left side of the screen, you will see a Parties/Contacts list. Select a party (e.g., Law Firm Contact, Party Contact, Local Counsel) to see all contacts that fall into that category for this matter. You can then select an individual contact, and that contact's information populates on the right.
Add a Contact to the Matter
- Click the Add Contact button at the top of the contact list. An Add New Contact window displays.
- Select a Person from the drop-down list.
Note: If the person does not already exist in Umbria, click the Add New Contact link at the bottom of the pop-up window. You can then enter the person's name and contact information and click Save. You will need to click Add Contact again to re-open the pop-up window and add the contact to the matter.
- Select a Member Role describing the contact's role in the matter.
- Click Save.
Send an Email to a Contact
- Select the contact in the list.
- In the contact detail panel on the right side of the screen, click the Send Email button. A blank message addressed to the contact opens in your default email program.
Edit a Contact
- Select the contact in the list.
- In the contact detail panel on the right side of the screen, click Edit Contact.
- Make any necessary changes to the person's name and contact information and click Save.
