You can add Dynamic Groups to workspaces and add users to those groups. Dynamic group allows you to add multiple users to the workspace security avoiding the need to re-index the workspace each time a user is added. A dynamic group can be created based on CAM Roles, Admin, Editor, and Watcher. When you add members to these group, the users are automatically assigned the respective CAM role permissions.
Create Dynamic Group
Add Users to Dynamic Groups via Users & Groups tab
Note: The users added to the Dynamic Group must have access to the workspaces.
Note: Once a user is added to a Dynamic group and a role is defined for the user (Admin/Editor/Watcher) and if the role for that user is later updated, this will create a duplicate entry for the user in the Dynamic group workspace security. When a user role is updated the user must first be removed from the old Dynamic group security and then again added to workspace security with the new role. The Workspace(s) must be updated to update the Matter security.
