Application Configuration

All options and settings stored in the Milan database can be configured on the Application Configuration page (milan/MilanConfig.aspx), which is accessible from the About the Administration Menu. Settings are divided over the following six tabs.

Tab Name	Contents
App Settings	A list of all configurable application settings for Milan. To edit a setting, double click anywhere on the list item. For more information on configuring application settings, as well as a list of all available settings, see Application Settings.
Connections Strings	A list of all connection strings used by Milan, including those for the Milan, WorkSite, and Billing To Milan databases. To edit a connection string, click the Value field; to delete a connection string, click the delete icon in the connection string's row.
System Check	Displays the results of a series of tests that verify critical Milan settings.
Workspace to Folder	An editable list of metadata fields to be applied to all new folders. To specify additional metadata fields, insert <metadata name ="imProfile..." /> on an empty line, where imProfile... is the metadata's WorkSite attribute ID.
Document Profile	A list of all metadata that can included in the Edit Profile and View Profile dialogs for documents. Only metadata that have been checked as Visible will be displayed in the document profile dialogs.
Workspace Profile	Same as the Document Profile tab, except applicable to workspaces.
Practice Group	An editable list of practice groups.
