Players and Parties

For each matter, you can now track the interaction of the Individuals and Companies. Umbria is built upon a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data architecture that allows all persons and companies to be related to matters.

You can track the following critical groups for each matter:

1. Parties - The Parties tab shows a list of all the Clients (either company or person) and any Adverse Party for a matter.
2. Players – The Players tab shows a list of all the Parties and the other related groups such as the Co-counsel, Opposing Counsel, Investment Bankers, Accountants, Expert Witnesses, Witnesses etc. for a matter.
3. Contacts - The Contacts tab shows a list of all the Individuals (who work for the players) for a matter.
4. Business Development - The Business Development tab shows a list of all the Referrers (person or party who referred the matter to the firm) and the Competitors for a matter.
