About Global Settings

Global settings control what all users can see or access in Umbria and are modifiable by System Administrators only. To access these settings, locate the Global Settings node in the Manage folder in the Admin Panel.

The Global Settings node includes all tabs listed below:

Option	Description
Export-Import Settings	Click to copy configuration settings from one Umbria environment to another. To export the configuration, select the Export option. In the Export Settings dialog, check box next to the configuration you want to export and click Export. The exported settings are downloaded to your local machine in a zip format. To import the file, select the Import option and browse and select the downloaded zip file.
Tools	Click to initiate Full Text Fragmentation to rebuild indexes and optimize database performance.
